There are a number of things that can contribute to emotional resilience, including:
Strong relationships: People who have strong relationships with family, friends, and partners are more likely to be emotionally resilient. These relationships provide support and a sense of belonging.
Positive coping skills: Emotionally resilient people have a number of positive coping skills that they use to deal with stress and adversity. These skills include things like exercise, meditation, and journaling.
Self-awareness: Emotionally resilient people are aware of their own emotions and how they affect their thoughts and behaviors. They are able to regulate their emotions in a healthy way.
Flexibility: Emotionally resilient people are able to adapt to change and new situations. They are able to roll with the punches and not get too caught up in things they cannot control.
